Good Sports

People of colour have xcelled in sports due to their exceptional talent, hard work, and dedication. Their achievements have often transcended the field, inspiring communities and challenging stereotypes. However, despite their success, they frequently face exploitation. This exploitation manifests in various forms, such as unequal pay, limited access to leadership roles, and exposure to racial discrimination and bias.

Additionally, their contributions are often commodified, with profits primarily benefiting owners and organisations rather than the athletes themselves. This disparity highlights the ongoing systemic inequalities in sports, underscoring the need for reforms to ensure fair treatment and recognition for athletes of colour.
