Diversity and Anti-Racist Professional Learning (DARPL) was founded as a Community of Practice (CoP) in 2021, funded by the Welsh Government and established at Cardiff Metropolitan University, lead in critical anti-racist professional learning to bring deep societal change and systemic reform by impacting anti-racist leadership across the entire Education system in Wales. Diversity and Anti-Racist Professional Learning (DARPL) is a recent Times Higher Education Award-Winning Project that contributed greatly to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.Our Strategic Plan 2023-2026 aligns with the Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan (ARWAP) for 2030, outlining our purpose, vision, value statements and workstreams. This plan sets out our approach to enabling, supporting and challenging leaders from all sectors across Wales and to provide opportunities for developing and building a national anti-racist leadership and professional learning capacity in Education, Childcare and Playwork.​​
