Dagmawit Alemayehu

Fashion designer, Dagmawit Alemayehu, is passionate about bringing diversity into everyday apparel. Using her experience of working in her family run textile factory, back home in Ethiopia, Dagmawit is more than experienced to understand the commitment and creativity needed to create a brand.

Only six years ago, Dagmawit settled here in Wales, after seeking political asylum and is currently working towards completing a degree in fashion design at the University of South Wales. Throughout her studies, this Ethiopian beauty, has been working on her own fashion label, called Konjo Fashions, which means beautiful in Aramaic.

Her passion, and love of Africa, is evident in her bespoke designs, where she uses African prints in everyday unique pieces.
