In 2020, the Welsh Government introduced it’s anti – racism action plan. This ambitious plan, is a bold and historical move, which will ensure that organisations, statutory services and institutions are decolonising their current structures. However, we do believe that the plan should become a legitastive piece that holds organisations and individuals to account. This move is huge for Wales, and we will be an excellent example to the rest of the World on how to be a nation that values diversity “infusion” not just inclusion, as the first nation of sanctuary.

 

BE.Xcellence is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that aspires to serve as a conduit, bridging the gap between organisations and communities that have been systematically and structurally marginalized in education, business, and the mainstream media. Xcellence magazine offers collaboration, insight, access, and education, helping to foster authentic equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) policies and practices. Xcellence is a quarterly magazine available in print and online, providing a platform for promoting business role models and the latest developments in education. Frequently, there is a noticeable absence of representation in these spaces, leading to a lack of equity and accurate media reporting for marginalised groups residing in Wales. We strive to support organisations growth in their EDI efforts by fostering empathy, promoting understanding, and cultivating cultural competency. ​​
